Sunshine Acres is situated on 11 acres of land in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains of Central Pennsylvania, offering you privacy and seclusion. Just a 5 minute drive to Seven Points Marina. New Mountain Bike Trail, hiking trails, historic Huntingdon and Juniata College; Sunshine Acres is open year round for get-aways. We are close enough to PSU for football weekends, roar and then snore! We are kid and pet friendly. |
Sunshine Acres has both a classic farmhouse and contemporary feel to it. The entrance floor has a beautifully restored and modern kitchen; featuring hickory cabinetry, hardwood floors, an island / bar with seating for four, and brand new appliances. Also on the first floor is the large combined dining room and living room area. This room is equipped with all the furnishings, including dining table, pull out sofa, Dish TV (with VCR and DVD), books, games, and comfortable reading chairs. We are equipped for free high speed internet provided your laptop is wireless.

A spacious changing room and plenty of storage space are available on the main level. Extending from the kitchen and dining room areas is a large screened in porch providing a haven from the elements, perfect for relaxing, socializing, or for enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds. To enjoy the panoramic view, be sure to enjoy the back porch as well! |

Families with children are welcome; there is plenty of room for kids to run around. We are pet friendly. We do not currently offer local phone service. Cellular service is weak right at the house with full service just a short walk up the hill on the property. We also have complimentary high speed internet provided by Raystown Wireless, provided you have a wireless laptop at your disposal. Sunshine Acres and the surrounding area are truly amazing and provide the perfect vacation opportunity for any kind of traveler. We hope you feel the same way!
